Launcher Crashes when it reaches the World Finder

Whenever I enter the World Finder stage, it crashes. I tried both checking the little box about the auto-login to the world, didn't work. I am running it from steam, so I tried my non-steam version. Currently it is downloading, so I will get back to here soon. Anyone else having this issue? If not, how can I help this without doing a series of technical things and installations?
