I just got a new computer with Windows 8. I can play Lotro and did not have any difficulty installing. I have searched the forums for about an hour now, and cannot find a previous post regarding my specific issues.
Two things:
1. When I hit the EXIT GAME button, the screen freezes. I try to bring up task manager, but cannot view it because Lotro is still taking up the screen. The only way to get it off of the screen is to turn the computer off with the power button. This is rather cumbersome.
2. Occasionally I like to exit the game screen to research on the web. I achieved this on my old computer by CTRL + ESC. This is not possible with Windows 8.
I would greatly appreciate any help I could get with these issues.
