Since the last update we can now log in OK but are getting frequent disconnects which always work the same way.
First we stop moving but can still chat, after about 30 - 45sec the chat server disconnects. We can go for an hour or so sometimes and no disconnects then get 3-4 in 20mins.
Symptoms & info
1) We have pathpinged this disconnect with no packet loss or drops all the way over to the turbine servers.
2) We have 3 installs on 3 different machines with different OS's - Win 7, Vista ultimate & XP. None of these are wireless connections.
3) The drops in connection DO NOT happen at the same time if myself and my husband are on the vista & XP machines in the same room.
4) Both accounts are VIP lifers.
5) I have also noticed the same disconnect on DDO (using the same turbine account as Lotro)
6) The internet is always still connected on the disconnecting machine. E.g.. I can be logged into another game (SWTOR for example) or online on my machine when my husband drops connection to lotro
7) I have done a complete re-install on 1 machine - and there was no effect.
8) Prior to the last game update we did not have this issue, our connection has generally been very stable.
9) Both clients run as administrator and the software is not installed on the main c drive.
