Unable to Enter the Game World

I've skimmed across the recent threads and haven't seen anything really relating to this, so... here goes:

After U11 went live, I updated the client and was able to login no problem. This only lasted a few days, however. When I finally got time this weekend to login again, I found that while I had no issues going through the launcher and getting to the character selection screen... I hit a wall once selecting a character and attempting to enter the world. It would take a few minutes to load (which has never been unusual), but it would reach a certain point and lock up. Then I'd receive the "Your connection to the server has been lost" message with the (probably well known) only option to "Quit".

I have tried a few times (3-4 or so over the last couple days, all at different times ranging from 5am to 8pm) with a couple different characters and had zero luck. Nothing, to my knowledge, has changed since the initial update/patch, so I'm not sure what the issue is nor how to fix it. Only thing different I can think of that has been changed in the game is the current festival, not sure if something went wrong in a quick patch for it or this is unrelated.

Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
