Ok, today my 4 year old main PC went the way of dodo with sparkles and cracking.
Well, here I had a Win8 laptop and a few weeks old backup of LotRO, so I guessed it woud be easy to get game running again, alas I was totally wrong being optimistic like that...

This one error crashes my client every time it gets to the spot one needs confirm EULA
I read a bit bout that there is this conflict with Turbine using the Net1.1 and win8 not being meant to run that easily but well, being a technician, I tried to get it running following instructions on FAQ site... Not so much luck...
anyideas?
PS I managed to run LotRO on said laptop before, but since then i still had running main PC, Murphy apparently decided to play along...
