I've been having disconnecting issues for a while now. It happens very often and I don't know how to solve it. After logging in I can usually play around 15-30 min. before everything stops moving except for the chat. When I want to close the game it says it doesn't respond in the task manager. If I let it run I eventually get the error "Your connection to the server has been lost".
When I restart the game I get stuck on the character loading screen the first couple of times (The ring moves, but the bar doesn't fill). Around the same time this problem started to happen we switched providers and got a different modem (the router is the same). I'm thinking it has something to do with it, because it's very coincidental this problem occurred since we switched. Besides running the turbine launcher as administrator I have no idea what else I can do. I am a player from Europe, but I've had no problems before connecting to the servers in America since the migration from Codemasters.
It might have to do something with port forwarding, but I doubt it because it wasn't necessary before. I don't know the correct ports either. I have a wired connection and as far as I know it's pretty stable, as I don't have problems in any other games and I can connect to the internet when I lose my connection to Lotro.
I'd appreciate some help :)
