Recently I decided to pick up the game once more to play and unforunately there are a number of very bizaar things occuring:
1. when I start the game it acts as if it is sending the display to full screen but only displays the game in a small window on the upper left hand corner of the monitor before I have to Alt tab out and back in to fix it. (This does not occur when I run it in Direct X9).
2. When playing the game with Direct X 10 or 11, there will often be times during play that the game freezes and I have to Ctrl+Alt+Delete to shut it down as it is no longer responding.
3. Also when playing the game in Direct X 10 or 11, the minimap seems to have a weird habit of being off center from where it should be on the Hud and effectively becoming useless.
4. When I have tried playing the game on Direct X 9 setting, it seemed to fix the problem of the mini map and crashes I faced earlier, however once I got into Bree (around the town hall) the game froze, my computer froze, and nothign would respond forcing me to do a hard reset. This has occured twice today.
I don't think I can bring myself to play the game if I can't somehow find a fix for this issue. What should I do?
