Scoped_dir folders in temp folder stays

Every time I log into Lotro on one of my accounts I get a folder called scaoped_dir created in my temp folder. They're all empty and they stay there, even if the Lotro client is shut down and even if pc is rebooted.
I have never noticed that before until a few days ago. And I do not use Chrome or Steam, by the way.

An official Lotro/Turbine explaination will be preferred. Thanks.
