I seem to be getting a strange distortion on my minimap after a short period of playing:

The images are self explaitory, it starts as normal, the first image. Then switches to the second and remains like that.
It happens in all areas. There doesn't seem to be anything I'm doing at the time.
I've tried Repair from the opening screen panel. Tried turning off location indicators. A restart will fix the problem temporarily but it returns after a few minutes.
