My character is invisible when playing

I've been playing LOTRO for a year now, and the first months it worked perfectly, but then the game got more and more difficult to start up and play, I almost everytime have the common ''connection to the server has ben lost'' message, but after a few tries I can usually get to the playing. But 2 months ago or so my characters became invisible in the game! And it is not for a short period of time, I have tried restarting, re-installing, change graphic settings, changing outfits, etc. but all i can see is my weapons just floating on the screen! Everything else is fine, the backgrounds look as they should and the game runs fine, but my characters are invisible!

Is there anything I can do to get rid of this problem? Since it's been working perfectly before I don't know how this suddenly happened.
