Lost connection, after restart launcher stuck at " Installing pre-reqs "

I lost connection to game servers last night around 4am CST. They game client would not kick me back out to the launcher client or take me to the screen that says server connection failed. I waited for what must have been at least 15 minutes before using the Task Manager to exit out of the turbinelauncher.exe. After doing so and restarting the launcher, I am able to get past " Initializing ", but the launcher goes straight to " Installing pre-reqs " and will not do anything else. I can click on all the buttons, but they do nothing except if I click on the X, it does close the launcher.

Currently all ports for the LOTRO client and launcher in my firewall have exceptions set for the port ranges specified on the Turbine Support website. I can succesfully tracert GLS.turbine.com just fine. All of the hops are with in respectable latency ranges.

I've attempted to uninstall and re-install with no change to the launcher sticking at " Installing Pre-Reqs ". Can anyone shed some light on how to fix this issue? I've submitted a ticket to Turbine technical support, but have not heard back from them yet. I was hoping their might be a quicker fix from a forum lord or the player community.

I'm located out of Kansas. Could this be an issue with routing as I've read from other posts? Prior to last night I have had ZERO troubles with the launcher or connection issues like this sort. Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you.
