Game does not launch after selecting what server to join.

Hi there,

I have recently downloaded LotRO and played without issues last night, I even logged on this morning to add a friend quickly and that worked then also.

I attempted to change graphics settings while in game and got a black screen with low sound, nothing would rectify this so I alt+tab to desktop and closed the client via the task bar.
I then restarted my laptop for an install of Avast Antivirus to take affect.

Since rebooting I have been able to launch the log in screen, log in fine and get to select server screen, I can select any server and click play, once I do click play I get nothing now. the client seems to close and I have tired numerous times to open the client with the same end result. I have selected no proxy, I have removed and re added lotroclient, turbinelauncher, turnbineinvoker to the exceptions of windows firewall. but still no change.
I have also selected my gfx card as primary gfx handler rather than the onboard gfx but that has also not made a difference.


has anyone got any ideas? what could be worng please?
